One aspect of choosing and deciding is thinking which results in prohibiting and/or permitting. What you prohibit in your life, you taboo, ban, forbid, disallow and preclude. It is not allowed. You are not okay with it. It could be an emotion, especially a negative emotion like fear, anger, sadness, tenderness, insecurity, etc. It could be an experience like skiing, skating, bungie jumping, dancing, selling, etc.

The opposite thinking pattern from prohibiting is permitting. When you permit something you allow it and acknowledge it. Eventually you may come to afford it an opportunity in your life. The problem, however, that many experience are the pseudo-permissions. These are the things tht people falsely think (assume) that permission means. They falsely think that permission means condoning something or approving of it. If what they are referring to is something bad or immoral, then they think they are letting that bad thing win.
