Let’s try a thought experiment before I present you the topic of this NS Trainer’s reflection.

Let’s imagine that you are about to take the stage as an international keynote presenter and you are about to speak to the largest audience you have spoken to ever. You demonstrate you are exceptional at building rapport and are brilliant at actively engaging your audience. You do both with ease and simultaneously. You demonstrate confidently that you own the stage you are speaking from. You engage the participants in such a way that they each have a sense of being in synch with you right from the outset. You have gained rapport and you have the audience fully engaged.

But you do not have one specific component and it’s a component we do not talk about specifically at NS Trainer’s training. While you have rapport and engagement you do not have —trust.
