This year I have had four times where a training I was involved in had to be either cancelled or rescheduled. It’s not the first time it’s happened to me. In fact it probably has happened to me at least 30-40 times over the last 10 years, which is probably not a bad thing when you compare it to more than 2,000 days training I’ve delivered over that 10 year period.

That works out at being less than 3% of my total trainings have been either cancelled or rescheduled. Yet, when a training is cancelled or rescheduled, it can be a real disappointment. And even a financial disaster. After all, you may have invested money into the training in some small or large way and are faced with having lost that money. And I have had that happen to me also.

So why do we have this as a problem? Why can we not successfully run a training you had scheduled? Also I know Neuro-Semantic Trainers who have a much higher percentage of trainings they fail to successfully run than the 3% of failures I have had. The situation I am describing is not that uncommon amongst trainers.
