On Day 3 of unleashing leadership, we can really see the structure of the training comes together.
Day 3 of Unleashing Potentials has an energy and vitality about it like nothing else.
I’ve mentioned before on this list and to anyone I talk to regarding Neuro-Semantics, that Self- Actualisation Psychology is my absolute passion— and chosen specialty.
In my last Trainers Reflection (#46), I wrote about the psychology that underpins all we do in Neuro-Semantics and Meta-Coaching, namely Humanistic or Self-Actualisation psychology.
I had a trainers reflection planned but was struck by a comment on Facebook that prompted me to write something new at the very last minute.
Within the Neuro-Semantic community we promote and actively encourage collaboration.
Just recently on a Neuro-Semantic social media page an advertisement was placed and I left a comment cautioning against the subject.
Any professional organisation has a requirement for continuing education.
In Trainers Reflection #25, I posed the question, “Can You Train an ‘O’ Ring?”
When we sell public trainings we are pretty much assured that those attending actually want to be there.
At NSTT we not only learned and were taught great platform skills but we had the chance of modelling great trainers in action; Colin, Michael, the other trainers who co-facilitated as well as our fellow trainees.
There is an overarching frame in any training that goes beyond the ways to teach content material, the 4-MAT to structure your material, the different learning styles of participants, etc.
As trainers we have certain obvious outcomes for our students —namely that they learn and fully understand the course content in a way that they can use it effectively.
When I first took Unleashing Potentials in 2008 I was astounded by the synthesis of models and pure applicability of the course.
If someone said to you “put together a 90 minute presentation on mud”...
Colin has pointed out many times that when training “it’s all about them” (the participants) and that as soon as a trainer’s ego gets in the way it becomes about the train-er, not the train-ing.
Of all of the Neuro-Semantics Trainers in the world, there don’t seem to be that many actually running Neuro-Semantics certification courses.
We all know that NLP has as it’s foundations a number of commonly held presuppositions.
